Dynamics of antibody response to BNT162b2 vaccine after six months: a longitudinal prospective study.
Paul Naaber,Paul Naaber,Liina Tserel,Kadri Kangro,Epp Sepp,Virge Jürjenson,Ainika Adamson,Liis Haljasmägi,Anna Pauliina Rumm,Regina Maruste,Jaanika Kärner,Joachim M. Gerhold,Anu Planken,Mart Ustav,Kai Kisand,Pärt Peterson +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the antibody and memory T cell responses after the two-dose BNT162b2 vaccine in 122 volunteers up to 6 months and correlated the findings with age and side effects.
Journal ArticleDOI
Longitudinal proteomic profiling reveals increased early inflammation and sustained apoptosis proteins in severe COVID-19.
Liis Haljasmägi,Ahto Salumets,Anna Pauliina Rumm,Meeri Jürgenson,Ekaterina Krassohhina,Anu Remm,Hanna Sein,Lauri Kareinen,Olli Vapalahti,Tarja Sironen,Hedi Peterson,Lili Milani,Anu Tamm,Adrian Hayday,Adrian Hayday,Kai Kisand,Pärt Peterson +16 more
TL;DR: COVID-19 is associated with a selective inflammatory milieu within which the apoptotic pathway is a cardinal feature with potential to aid risk-based patient stratification.
Journal ArticleDOI
LIPS method for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies to spike and nucleocapsid proteins.
Liis Haljasmägi,Anu Remm,Anna Pauliina Rumm,Ekaterina Krassohhina,Hanna Sein,Anu Tamm,Kai Kisand,Pärt Peterson +7 more
TL;DR: The results show that LIPS is a rapid and measurable method to screen antibody responses against SARS‐CoV‐2 antigens and was specific to COVID‐19 as it saw no reactivity among uninfected healthy controls.
Peer ReviewDOI
Author response for "LIPS method for the detection of SARS‐CoV‐2 antibodies to spike and nucleocapsid proteins"

Journal ArticleDOI
Epigenetic quantification of immunosenescent CD8+ TEMRA cells in human blood
Ahto Salumets,Liina Tserel,Anna Pauliina Rumm,Lehte Türk,Külli Kingo,Kai Saks,Astrid Oras,Raivo Uibo,Riin Tamm,Hedi Peterson,Kai Kisand,Pärt Peterson +11 more
TL;DR: The association of CD8+ TEMRA and its subsets with CMV infection is confirmed and a novel tool for their high throughput epigenetic quantification as a biomarker of immunosenescence is provided.
