Journal ArticleDOI
The use of inertial sensors system for human motion analysis
TL;DR: It is concluded that inertial sensors can offer an accurate and reliable method to study human motion, but the degree of accuracy and reliability is site and task specific.
Journal ArticleDOI
Telehealth Home Support During COVID-19 Confinement for Community-Dwelling Older Adults With Mild Cognitive Impairment or Mild Dementia: Survey Study.
Jessica Marian Goodman-Casanova,Elena Dura-Perez,Jose Guzman-Parra,Antonio Cuesta-Vargas,Fermin Mayoral-Cleries +4 more

Central sensitisation in chronic pain conditions: latest discoveries and their potential for precision medicine
Jo Nijs,Jo Nijs,Steven Z. George,Daniel J. Clauw,César Fernández-de-las-Peñas,Eva Kosek,Eva Kosek,Kelly Ickmans,Kelly Ickmans,Josué Fernández-Carnero,Andrea Polli,Andrea Polli,Eleni Kapreli,Eva Huysmans,Eva Huysmans,Antonio Cuesta-Vargas,Ramakrishnan Mani,Mari Lundberg,Laurence Leysen,David A Rice,Michele Sterling,Michele Curatolo +21 more
TL;DR: The available evidence supports various pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies to reduce central sensitisation and to improve patient outcomes in several conditions commonly seen in rheumatology practice and studies suggest the possibility of matching non-Pharmacological approaches, or medications, or both to thecentral sensitisation pain phenotypes.
Journal ArticleDOI
The association between academic engagement and achievement in health sciences students
María Jesús Casuso-Holgado,Antonio Cuesta-Vargas,Antonio Cuesta-Vargas,Noelia Moreno-Morales,Maria Teresa Labajos-Manzanares,Francisco Javier Baron-Lopez,Manuel Vega-Cuesta +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored the association between academic engagement and achievement and found that the academic rate most strongly associated with engagement dimensions and this association is different for male and female students.
Journal ArticleDOI
The effectiveness of a deep water aquatic exercise program in cancer-related fatigue in breast cancer survivors: a randomized controlled trial.
Irene Cantarero-Villanueva,Carolina Fernández-Lao,Antonio Cuesta-Vargas,Rosario del Moral-Avila,César Fernández-de-las-Peñas,Manuel Arroyo-Morales +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the effectiveness of an 8-week aquatic program on cancer-related fatigue, as well as physical and psychological outcomes in breast cancer survivors, and found that the aquatic exercise group showed a large effect size in total fatigue score (d =.87; 95% confidence interval,.48-1.26), trunk curl endurance (d=.83), and leg strength(d=1.10;.97-3.76), but negligible effects in vigor, confusion, and disturbance of mood (d d>.90).
