Abstract: The cross-section for production of ν-\(v - \bar v\) pairs by high-energy leptons in the nuclear Coulomb field is calculated in the standard theory, allowing for arbitrary polarization of the incoming lepton beam. The differential distributions of the outgoing charged lepton are studied, showing that the scattered lepton peaks at low energies and emerges at appreciable angles. Incoherent contributions to the cross-section are also discussed.
