Journal ArticleDOI
Composition of black soldier fly prepupae and systematic approaches for extraction and fractionation of proteins, lipids and chitin
Augusta Caligiani,Angela Marseglia,Giulia Leni,Stefania Baldassarre,Lara Maistrello,Arnaldo Dossena,Stefano Sforza +6 more
TL;DR: The present investigation was undertaken to evaluate the feasibility of applying different extraction protocols, either chemical extractions or enzymatic assisted extraction, to recover pure fat, protein and chitin fractions in black soldier fly prepupae samples.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fluorescent Chemosensor for Organic Guests and Copper(II) Ion Based on Dansyldiethylenetriamine-Modified β-Cyclodextrin
Roberto Corradini,Arnaldo Dossena,Gianni Galaverna,Rosangela Marchelli,and Anna Panagia,Giorgio Sartor +5 more
TL;DR: A modified cyclodextrin containing a dansyldiethylenetriamine metal-binding group (6-deoxy-6-N-(N‘-dansylethylenediamino)-β-cyclodextrin, CD-dien-DNS) was synthesized in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Applications of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry for food analysis.
Vita Di Stefano,Giuseppe Avellone,David Bongiorno,Vincenzo Cunsolo,Vera Muccilli,Stefano Sforza,Arnaldo Dossena,László Drahos,Károly Vékey +8 more
TL;DR: The characterization of food quality (including problems of authentication and adulteration) is discussed, together with a future outlook on future directions.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new integrated membrane process for the production of concentrated blood orange juice : Effect on bioactive compounds and antioxidant activity
Gianni Galaverna,Gianluca Di Silvestro,Alfredo Cassano,Stefano Sforza,Arnaldo Dossena,Enrico Drioli,Rosangela Marchelli +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new integrated membrane process was proposed for the production of high quality concentrated blood orange juice according to the UltraFiltration (UF) and Osmotic Distillation (OD) methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enantioselective Fluorescence Sensing of Amino Acids by Modified Cyclodextrins: Role of the Cavity and Sensing Mechanism
Sara Pagliari,Roberto Corradini,Gianni Galaverna,Stefano Sforza,Arnaldo Dossena,Marco Montalti,Luca Prodi,Nelsi Zaccheroni,Rosangela Marchelli +8 more
TL;DR: Two selectors based on modified cyclodextrins containing a metal binding site and a dansyl fluorophore-6-deoxy- 6-N-(N(alpha)-[(5-dimethylamino-1-naphthalenesulfonyl)aminoethyl]-N(1)-propyl-phenylalaninamide showed very low chiral discrimination ability.
