Journal ArticleDOI

Complex Formation Between Ferric(III), Chromium(III), and Cupric(II) Metal Ions and (O,N) and (O,O) Donor Ligands with Biological Relevance in Aqueous Solution

TL;DR: In this paper, the complexation equilibria of L-norleucine and gallic acid were studied in aqueous solutions at 25.00 °C and ionic strength 0.15 mol⋅dm−3 (NaNO3), by means of potentiometry and spectrophotometry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced root growth in phosphate-starved Arabidopsis by stimulating de novo phospholipid biosynthesis through the overexpression of LYSOPHOSPHATIDIC ACID ACYLTRANSFERASE 2 (LPAT2).

TL;DR: A revised model of membrane lipid remodelling is proposed, in which de novo phospholipid biosynthesis mediated by LPAT2 contributes significantly to root development under phosphate starvation.
Journal ArticleDOI

LYSOPHOSPHATIDIC ACID ACYLTRANSFERASES 4 and 5 are involved in glycerolipid metabolism and nitrogen starvation response in Arabidopsis.

TL;DR: It is suggested that LPAT4 and LPAT5 may redundantly function in ER-localized de novo glycerolipid biosynthesis for phospholipids and TAG, which is important for the nitrogen starvation response in Arabidopsis.
