K. Selvam,Chinnappan Sudhakar,Muthusamy Govarthanan,Muthusamy Govarthanan,Periasamy Thiyagarajan,Arumugam Sengottaiyan,Balakrishnan Senthilkumar,T. Selvankumar +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an eco-friendly, rapid and easy method for synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using Tinospora cordifolia as a reducing and capping agent was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Biogenic synthesis, characterization and antibacterial activity of gold nanoparticles synthesised from vegetable waste
R. Mythili,T. Selvankumar,P. Srinivasan,Arumugam Sengottaiyan,J. Sabastinraj,Fuad Ameen,Ahmed Al-Sabri,Seralathan Kamala-Kannan,Muthusamy Govarthanan,Muthusamy Govarthanan,Hyung J. Kim +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the potential use of market vegetable waste for the synthesis of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) was reported using a green method without using any harmful chemical.
Journal ArticleDOI
Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using Solanum indicum L. and their antibacterial, splenocyte cytotoxic potentials
Arumugam Sengottaiyan,R. Mythili,T. Selvankumar,Adithan Aravinthan,Seralathan Kamala-Kannan,Koildhasan Manoharan,P. Thiyagarajan,Muthusamy Govarthanan,Jong-Hoon Kim +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, green synthesis of silver nanoparticles was carried out using Solanum indicum L. plant extract as a reducing agent, and the morphology of the AgNPs was determined by transmission electron microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of Solanum nigrum-mediated silver nanoparticles and its protective effect on alloxan-induced diabetic rats
Arumugam Sengottaiyan,Adithan Aravinthan,Chinnapan Sudhakar,K. Selvam,P. Srinivasan,Muthusamy Govarthanan,Koildhasan Manoharan,T. Selvankumar +7 more
TL;DR: Silver nanoparticles synthesized from S. nigrum extract-mediated AgNPs are found to be 4–25 nm in size, which significantly improved the dyslipidemic condition as seen in the diabetic control and also reduced the blood glucose level over the period of treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Eco-friendly cost-effective approach for synthesis of copper oxide nanoparticles for enhanced photocatalytic performance
Sukumar Kayalvizhi,Arumugam Sengottaiyan,T. Selvankumar,Balakrishnan Senthilkumar,Chinnappan Sudhakar,K. Selvam +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, green synthesis of CuONPs using Annona muricata leaf extract was investigated for their photocatalytic activity and cytotoxic property on human breast cancer cell lines (MCF-7).
