The demand for wireless connectivity has grown exponentially over the last few decades. Fifth-generation (5G) communications, with far more features than fourth-generation communications, will soon be deployed worldwide. A new paradigm of wireless communication, the sixth-generation (6G) system, with the full support of artificial intelligence, is expected to be implemented between 2027 and 2030. Beyond 5G, some fundamental issues that need to be addressed are higher system capacity, higher data rate, lower latency, higher security, and improved quality of service (QoS) compared to the 5G system. This paper presents the vision of future 6G wireless communication and its network architecture. This article describes emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, terahertz communications, wireless optical technology, free-space optical network, blockchain, three-dimensional networking, quantum communications, unmanned aerial vehicles, cell-free communications, integration of wireless information and energy transfer, integrated sensing and communication, integrated access-backhaul networks, dynamic network slicing, holographic beamforming, backscatter communication, intelligent reflecting surface, proactive caching, and big data analytics that can assist the 6G architecture development in guaranteeing the QoS. Besides, expected applications with 6G communication requirements and possible technologies are presented. We also describe potential challenges and research directions for achieving this goal.

Crop yield prediction using machine learning: A systematic literature review

The fast development of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in recent years has supported connections of numerous smart things along with sensors and established seamless data exchange between them, so it leads to a stringy requirement for data analysis and data storage platform such as cloud computing and fog computing. Healthcare is one of the application domains in IoT that draws enormous interest from industry, the research community, and the public sector. The development of IoT and cloud computing is improving patient safety, staff satisfaction, and operational efficiency in the medical industry. This survey is conducted to analyze the latest IoT components, applications, and market trends of IoT in healthcare, as well as study current development in IoT and cloud computing-based healthcare applications since 2015. We also consider how promising technologies such as cloud computing, ambient assisted living, big data, and wearables are being applied in the healthcare industry and discover various IoT, e-health regulations and policies worldwide to determine how they assist the sustainable development of IoT and cloud computing in the healthcare industry. Moreover, an in-depth review of IoT privacy and security issues, including potential threats, attack types, and security setups from a healthcare viewpoint is conducted. Finally, this paper analyzes previous well-known security models to deal with security risks and provides trends, highlighted opportunities, and challenges for the IoT-based healthcare future development.

A Survey on Internet of Things and Cloud Computing for Healthcare

The rapid growth of Internet users led to unwanted cyber issues, including cyberbullying, hate speech, and many more. This article deals with the problems of hate speech on Twitter. Hate speech appears to be an inflammatory kind of interaction process that uses misconceptions to express a hate ideology. The hate speech focuses on various protected aspects, including gender, religion, race, and disability. Owing to hate speech, sometimes unwanted crimes are going to happen as someone or a group of people get disheartened. Hence, it is essential to monitor user’s posts and filter the hate speech related post before it is spread. However, Twitter receives more than six hundred tweets per second and about 500 million tweets per day. Manually filtering any information from such a huge incoming traffic is almost impossible. Concerning to this aspect, an automated system is developed using the Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN). The proposed DCNN model utilises the tweet text with GloVe embedding vector to capture the tweets’ semantics with the help of convolution operation and achieved the precision, recall and F1-score value as 0.97, 0.88, 0.92 respectively for the best case and outperformed the existing models.

A Framework for Hate Speech Detection Using Deep Convolutional Neural Network

The sybil attack in Internet of Things (IoT) commonly aims the sensing domain that may impose serious threat to the devices both in perception and communication layer. The singularity of the sybil attack is a sybil node that publish multiple identities of legitimate devices. It is highly essential to learn the behavior and predict possible actions of a sybil attacker while devising a defense mechanism for it. This paper provides a comprehensive characteristic analysis of sybil attack in IoT. Based on the nature of the task performed during this attack, it is classified into three phases as compromise, deployment, and launching phase. The compromise phase is modeled as an automaton with attacker state transition as a Markov chain model. A heuristic is also proposed for selection criteria of an attacker to compromise a node. In the deployment phase of the attack, an algorithm based on ${K}$ -mean clustering is proposed to group compromised identities and deploy the sybil node for corresponding identities without violating the set of adjacent nodes. In the launching phase, the process of replacing sybil identities either over time or on detection is modeled using age replacement policy. The results depict that the proposed model effectively visualize the behavior of a sybil attacker in challenging environments of IoT.

The focus, however, has been given to the residual energy-based clustering protocols which might differ depending on the application and network architecture. In this paper, a survey of the state-of-the-art clustering techniques in WSNs has been compared to find the merits and demerits among themselves. It has been assumed that the sensor nodes are randomly distributed and are not mobile, the coordinates of the base station (BS) and the dimensions of the sensor field are known.
