Journal ArticleDOI

One-pot synthesis and structural characterization of a Tb(III) coordination polymer based on a tripodal Schiff base ligand adopting an exo-bridging coordination mode

TL;DR: In this paper, the tripodal Schiff base ligand was used to construct a 3D coordination polymer with a nano-pore structure with alternating hydrophilic and hydrophobic regions.
Journal ArticleDOI

pH-Responsive Switching of the Near-Infrared Absorption of the Water-Soluble Bis(o-diiminobenzosemiquinonato)platinum(II) Complex

TL;DR: In this paper, the electronic structure of a water-soluble near-infrared (NIR)-absorbing complex was determined by X-ray diffraction and 1H NMR spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

A molecular probe for recognizing the size of hydrophobic cavities based on near-infrared absorbing diradical–PtII complexes

TL;DR: A diradical-platinum(II) complex was able to recognize the subtle difference in cavity size between β- and γ-cyclodextrin with on-off switching of intense near-infrared absorption and was successfully applied here to differentiate human serum albumin from α-chymotrypsin.
Journal ArticleDOI

pH-responsive switching of near-infrared absorption of a diradical complex of PtII and 3,4-diaminobenzoate formed in aqueous solutions

TL;DR: In this article, a 1:2 (Pt:L) complex of 3,4-diaminobenzoate (H 2 (2 L PDA ) − ) reacts with Pt II to form an ESR-silent complex assignable to the dimeric complex.
