Relationship between impact velocity of Al2O3 particles and deposition efficiency in aerosol deposition method

TL;DR: In this paper, the relationship between the impact velocity of Al2O3 particles and the deposition efficiency was investigated by evaluating the increment percentage of the substrate surface area after deposition (ΔS).
Journal ArticleDOI

Tensile properties prediction by multiple linear regression analysis for selective laser melted and post heat-treated Ti-6Al-4V with microstructural quantification

TL;DR: In this article, the microstructural features were quantitatively extracted from the scanning electron microscopy images by applying machine learning with a random forest algorithm and various image analysis techniques, together with defect-characterizing ones from X-ray computed tomography were used to develop a prediction model by multiple linear regression analysis for the tensile properties of heat-treated SLMed Ti-6Al-4V alloys.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of Zr and Si addition on high-temperature mechanical properties and microstructure in Ti-10Al-2Nb-based alloys

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the effect of the addition of Zr and Si on the compression strength and the creep property of Ti-10Al-2Nb based alloys with an equiaxed α phase.
Journal ArticleDOI

In-situ Synthesis of Titanium-Aluminides in Coating with Supersonic Free-Jet PVD using Ti and Al nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this article, a supersonic free-jet PVD (SFJ-PVD) is proposed for structural materials, which is composed of evaporation and deposition processes.
