Structure–cytotoxic activity relationship for the toad poison bufadienolides
Yoshiaki Kamano,Ayano Kotake,Hirofumi Hashima,Masuo Inoue,Hiroshi Morita,Koichi Takeya,Hideji Itokawa,Nobuyo Nandachi,Toshiaki Segawa,Ayako Yukita,Kyoko Saitou,Mariko Katsuyama,George R. Pettit +12 more
TL;DR: A valuable model which enables prediction of their activities was obtained from the CoMFA analysis, which may be employed for the drug designs of new bufadienolide analogues.
Journal ArticleDOI
Three new alkaloids, convolutamines F and G, and convolutamydine E, from the Floridian marine bryozoan Amathia convoluta
Yoshiaki Kamano,Ayano Kotake,Hirofumi Hashima,Ichiro Hayakawa,Hatsue Hiraide,Hui-ping Zhang,Haruhisa Kizu,Kanki Komiyama,Masahiko Hayashi,George R. Pettit +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, two 2-phenylethylamine alkaloids, convolutamines F and G, and a dibromohydroxyoxindole alkaloid E, have been isolated from the butan-1-ol soluble material of the Floridian marine bryozoan Amathia convoluta.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bufobutanoic acid and bufopyramide, two new indole alkaloids from the Chinese traditional drug Ch'an Su
Yoshiaki Kamano,Hiroshi Morita,Rui Takano,Ayano Kotake,Toshihiko Nogawa,Hirohumi Hashima,Koichi Takeya,Hideji Itokawa,George R. Pettit +8 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Conformational preference of two toad poison bufadienolides, bufarenogin and psi -bufarenogin
Journal ArticleDOI
Separation of toad poison bufadienolides by hydrophobic gel
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the column chromatography using hydrophobic gel carriers, Sephadex LH-20 and HP-Cellulofine, for separation of ten toad poison bufadienolides: resibufogenin, cinobufagin, bufalin, bufotalin, colocin-obufin, telocinobuffagin, desacetyl-cinobufinant, des acetyl-bufotalin and gamabufotalin.
