Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison Studies of Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) Process Model for Low Gap Current

TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared a Dimensional Analysis (DA) model, an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model and an experimental result for a low gap current of an Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Availability of phosphorus in a calcareous soil treated with rock phosphate or superphosphate as affected by phosphate-dissolving fungi

TL;DR: Positive and significant correlation coefficients among available P, P uptake and dry matter production at different periods of the growing season were observed following inoculation, but none of these variables were found to be significantly correlated with the fungal populations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of material removal rate of an electro-discharge machine using dimensional analysis

TL;DR: In this article, the authors described the use of dimensional analysis in investigating the effects of the electrical and physical parameters on the material removal rate of a diesinking electro-discharge machine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Occurrence of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria in some Iraqi soils

TL;DR: Both abundance and numbers of PSB were more pronounced in descending order under vegetables, legumes, grasses, cereal and orchard trees, and the correlations between PSB counts and electrical conductivity, available phosphorus, cation-exchange capacity, soil moisture, organic matter and pH were insignificant.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Predicting Material Removal Rate of Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) using Artificial Neural Network for High I gap current

TL;DR: In this paper, a behavioral model is used to predict material removal rate (MRR) in electrical discharge machining (EDM) using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) using experimental data were gathered from die sinking EDM process for copper-electrode and steel-workpiece.
