Journal ArticleDOI

AZO Thin Films by Sol-Gel Process for Integrated Optics

TL;DR: In this paper, the structural, morphological, and optical properties of zinc oxide thin films were investigated using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM).
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of stabilizer ratio on structural, morphological, optical and waveguide properties of ZnO nano-structured thin films by a sol-gel process

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of different monoethanolamine (MEA) to zinc acetate (ZnAc) molar ratios on the microstructure, surface morphology and optical transmittance were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy and UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometry.
Journal ArticleDOI

ZnO Thin Films Synthesized by Sol-Gel Process for Photonic Applications

TL;DR: In this article, the precursors of ZnO are prepared by spin-coating onto glass substrates, and are transformed into ZnOs upon annealing at 550.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of Low Ag Doping on Physical and Optical Waveguide Properties of Highly Oriented Sol-Gel ZnO Thin Films

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of low silver doping concentration (Ag/Zn < 1%) on the structural, morphological, optical and waveguide properties of such films were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy, UV-Visible spectrophotometry, and M-lines spectroscopy (MLS).
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of dip-coating speed and annealing temperature on structural, morphological and optical properties of sol-gel nano-structured TiO2 thin films

TL;DR: In this article, material characterization of the nano-structured TiO 2 thin films prepared by the sol-gel dip-coating process on glass substrates was reported, and the dependence of the structural, morphological and optical properties of the synthesized films on fabrication parameters such as withdrawal velocity and annealing temperature were investigated by the techniques of X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy (RS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy, and UV-visible spectrophotometry.
