Q-LEACH: A New Routing Protocol for WSNs
TL;DR: This work proposes Quadrature-LEach (Q-LEACH) for homogenous networks which enhances stability period, network life-time and throughput quiet significantly and proposes different approaches based upon clustering for optimum functionality.
Journal ArticleDOI
Q-LEACH: A New Routing Protocol for WSNs
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed Quadrature-LEACH for homogeneous networks which enhances stability period, network life-time and throughput quiet significantly, in order to enhance network life time as much as one could for efficient and optimal utilization of resources.

Energy Consumption Rate based Stable Election Protocol (ECRSEP) for WSNs
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a new protocol, Energy Consumption Rate based Stable Election Protocol (ECRSEP), which is based on the weighted election probabilities of each node according to the energy consumption rate of the node.
Journal ArticleDOI
Energy Consumption Rate based Stable Election Protocol (ECRSEP) for WSNs
TL;DR: This paper proposes a new protocol, ECRSEP, which outperforms all these protocols in terms of network stability and network lifetime and compares results of this protocol with Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH), Distributed Energy Efficient Clustered (DEEC), Stable Election Protocol (SEP), and Enhanced SEP(ESEP).
