Single Step In Situ Synthesis and Optical Properties of Polyaniline/ZnO Nanocomposites

TL;DR: The steric stabilizer added to prevent the agglomeration of nanostructures in the polymer matrix was found to affect the final properties of the nanocomposite and the one-step synthesis and potential use of PANI/ZnO nanocomPOSite in molecular electronics as well as in optical devices is focused on.
Book ChapterDOI

Conducting Polymer Hydrogels and Their Applications

TL;DR: A comprehensive survey of the existing and current literature on conducting hydrogels based on natural polymers is presented in this paper, where an overview of potential applications and current challenges in the field are discussed; some new and futuristic advances in this captivating area are also provided.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metal-free 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition approach towards the regioselective synthesis of β-carboline and isoxazole based molecular hybrids

TL;DR: In this paper, a 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition strategy for β-carboline-isoxazole conjugates is proposed. But the method is not suitable for the synthesis of β-caroline-containing dipolarophiles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Psyllium and acrylic acid based polymeric networks synthesized under the influence of γ-radiations for sustained release of fungicide

TL;DR: It was observed that the hydrogel has been found to follow Non-Fickian type mechanism for the fungicide release, and showed maximum swelling at 25 °C for 24 h.
