Liquid N2 quenching induced oxygen defects and surface distortion in TiO2 and the effect on the photocatalysis of methylene blue and acetone

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of quenching induced oxygen defects on the surface structure and photocatalytic properties of anatase and rutile TiO2 materials was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

The influence of O2 partial pressure on the structure and surface wettability of C-modified TiO2 films prepared by magnetron co-sputtering

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of different oxygen partial pressures on the phase transition, microstructure and surface wettability of C-modified TiO2 films was investigated by XPS, XRD, Raman spectra, SEM and AFM.
Journal ArticleDOI

One-step fabrication of a self-supported Co@CoTe2 electrocatalyst for efficient and durable oxygen evolution reactions

TL;DR: In this paper, a self-supported Co@CoTe2 electrode with CoTe2 nanoparticles was used for water oxidation catalysis, which is achieved by one-step hydrothermal treatment of commercially available cobalt foam.
Journal ArticleDOI

Facile Preparation of Zn2V2O7–VO2 Composite Films with Enhanced Thermochromic Properties for Smart Windows

TL;DR: In this article, a magnetron sputtering method was used to produce VO2 films that exhibit good durability and excellent solar modulation efficiency (ΔTsol), however, their undesirable low-temperature luminous transmittan...
Journal ArticleDOI

Microstructural characterization and optical polarization of glass with needle-like micro–nano silver oriented arrangement

TL;DR: The results showed that the glass after elongation and reduction exhibits excellent polarization performance in the wavelength range from 600nm to 900nm, with an extinction ratio larger than 45dB as mentioned in this paper.
