Journal ArticleDOI

Statistical designs and response surface techniques for the optimization of chromatographic systems

TL;DR: The surface response methodologies: central composite design, Doehlert matrix and Box-Behnken design are discussed and applications of these techniques for optimization of sample preparation steps and determination of experimental conditions for chromatographic separations are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Doehlert matrix: a chemometric tool for analytical chemistry-review.

TL;DR: A review of the use of the Doehlert matrix as a chemometric tool for the optimization of methods in analytical chemistry and other sciences is presented and 57 references concerning the application of DoehLert matrices in the optimized procedures involving spectroanalytical, electroanalytical and chromatographic techniques are considered.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chitosan effect on dental enamel de-remineralization: an in vitro evaluation.

TL;DR: OCT images support the idea that chitosan may act as a barrier against acid penetration, contributing to its demineralization inhibition, and microhardness measurements may be used as an indication of mineral loss from tooth enamel.
