Journal ArticleDOI

Ginkgo biloba Extract Inhibits Astrocytic Lipocalin-2 Expression and Alleviates Neuroinflammatory Injury via the JAK2/STAT3 Pathway After Ischemic Brain Stroke.

TL;DR: EGB is demonstrated to mediate neuro inflammation, which protects against ischemic brain injury by inhibiting astrogliosis and suppresses neuroinflammation via the LCN2-JAK2/STAT3 pathway, providing insight into a promising therapeutic strategy for ischeMIC stroke.
Journal ArticleDOI

Studies on the alkaloids of the bark of Magnolia officinalis: isolation and on-line analysis by HPLC-ESI-MS(n).

TL;DR: Two new alkaloids are named, named (S)-4-keto-magnoflorine (6) and (R)-3,4-dehydromagnocurarine (11), together with seven known alkaloidal compounds, which were isolated and their structures elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including 1D, 2D NMR, and HRESI-MS.
Journal ArticleDOI

An integrated approach combining HPLC, GC/MS, NIRS, and chemometrics for the geographical discrimination and commercial categorization of saffron.

TL;DR: An integrated approach combining HPLC/DAD, GC/MS, near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy, and chemometrics was used to geographically discriminate saffron samples from Iran and China and indicated that the ISO standard should be revised, especially for analysing safranal.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antioxidant activity and components of a traditional chinese medicine formula consisting of Crataegus pinnatifida and Salvia miltiorrhiza

TL;DR: Phenolic compounds were the bioactive components of the herb samples, and salvianolic acid B was identified as the main bioactive compound in the SZ+DS formula.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative study of lanostane-type triterpene acids in different parts of Poria cocos (Schw.) Wolf by UHPLC-Fourier transform MS and UHPLC-triple quadruple MS.

TL;DR: This study represents the first reported comprehensive analysis of lanostane-type triterpene acids in FLP and BFL parts of P. cocos, and demonstrated that dehydrotumulosic acid, trametenolic acid, dehydrotrametenolics acid and poricoic acid A were the main compounds contributing to the clusters in FLp and B FL.
