A new linear form analysis of Redlich–Peterson isotherm equation for the adsorptions of dyes

TL;DR: In this article, the Redlich-Peterson (R-P) isotherm equation (three parameters) is compared to those of Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms (two parameters).
Journal ArticleDOI

The Induction and Characterization of Phytase and Beyond

TL;DR: The properties of various phytases are summarized and the digestion of phytate by phytase and its products are also discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of growth medium for the production of spores from Bacillus thuringiensis using response surface methodology

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of cultivation medium compositions including tapioca, fishmeal, CaCO3 and (NH4)2SO4 for the growth of Bacillus thuringiensis YMB 96-1988 were accessed by using response surface methodology (RSM).
Journal ArticleDOI

Development and applications of destruxins: a review.

TL;DR: Some of the research progress made on understanding dtxs during the last decade are focused on, some of the newly identified dtx members are introduced, especially from M. anisopliae, and an overview of the applications are given.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced production of an extracellular protease from Beauveria bassiana by optimization of cultivation processes

TL;DR: Statistics-based experimental design, response surface methodology was employed to investigate the effect of medium components on the production of extracellular protease from Beauveria bassiana A1 and found the optimum medium composition for protease production to be 0.72 shrimp shell powder, 0.60 soy powder,0.19 sucrose and 0.68 yeast extract.
