Cayuga: A General Purpose Event Monitoring System.

TL;DR: This work describes the design and implementation of the Cornell Cayuga System for scalable event processing and presents a query language based on Cayuga Algebra for naturally expressing complex event patterns.
Journal ArticleDOI

PLANET: massively parallel learning of tree ensembles with MapReduce

TL;DR: This paper describes PLANET: a scalable distributed framework for learning tree models over large datasets, and shows how this framework supports scalable construction of classification and regression trees, as well as ensembles of such models.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Cayuga: a high-performance event processing engine

TL;DR: A demonstration of Cayuga, a complex event monitoring system for high speed data streams, will show Cayuga applied to monitoring Web feeds and illustrate the expressiveness of the Cayuga query language, the scalability of its query processing engine to high stream rates, and a visualization of the internals of the queryprocessing engine.

Fast Algorithms for Finding Extremal Sets

TL;DR: Two new algorithms for the extremal set finding task are described and it is shown that both these algorithms provide excellent performance in practice, and can identify all extremal sets from multi-gigabyte itemset data using only a single processor core.
