Gains and Losses: Week-to-Week Changes in Leader-Follower Relationships

TL;DR: In this article , the impact of changes in leader-member exchange (LMX) has been examined in the literature and it was found that within-individual variations in what was thought to be relatively unvarying relationships can signal improvement (i.e., gains) or deterioration in the relationship, with differential implications for positive and negative affect.
