Synthesis of anti-Markovnikov Alcohols via Epoxidation and Hydrogenation of Styrenes using Photocatalytically Generated Redox Equivalents
Andreas Graml,Burkhard König +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, an anti-Markovnikov addition of water to styrenes through photocatalytic generation of redox equivalents, using a gold-doped titanium dioxide (Au/TiO 2 ) semiconductor as photocatalyst.
Journal ArticleDOI
Heterogeneous catalyzed reduction of polymer-bound nitroarenes
TL;DR: The use of palladium as a catalyst on polymer beads, such as Merrifield resin or TentaGel, allows the reduction of polymer-bound 4-nitro benzoate to the corresponding anilines with dilute hydrazine hydrate solution in DMF at room temperature as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydrogen Bonding of Benzenesulfonamides in Molecular Recognition Processes
TL;DR: In this paper, the binding constant of the tetrabutylammonium salt 7·NBu4 to urea in DMSO was determined by 1H-NMR titration methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
NOP – Ein neues organischchemisches Grundpraktikum: Nachhaltigkeit per Internet
Johannes Ranke,Burkhard König,Achim Diehlmann,Günter Kreisel,Matthias Nüchter,Reinhold Störmann,Henning Hopf +6 more
TL;DR: The sustainable organic chemistry lab course for the new milennium (NOP) as mentioned in this paper makes use of the possibilities that an interactive website provides compared to a conventional lab course published as a textbook or manual.
