Journal ArticleDOI

Validation and evaluation of electrochemical impedance spectra of systems with states that change with time

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of hindered water removal from a polymer electrolyte fuel cell under constant load was investigated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, where the cathodic gas outlet of the cell was closed and impedance measurements were performed at periodic time intervals.
Journal ArticleDOI

Relaxation Impedance as a Model for the Deactivation Mechanism of Fuel Cells due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of carbon monoxide poisoning on the platinum anode in a polymer electrolyte fuel cell was investigated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and the reconstruction of quasi-causal spectra was made possible using enhanced numerical procedures, especially the time course interpolation and the Z-HIT refinement.

Current Interrupt Technique - Measuring low impedances at high frequencies

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors introduce a new co-worker, Werner Strunz, who studied chemistry in Heidelberg, Germany and took his doctor's degree on “Electrical Conducting Coordination Polymers“.
