Journal ArticleDOI

B-12, C-12, and the Red Giants

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that (1.4)% of all decays of a binary system lead to the second excited state of the binary system, and that this state breaks up predominantly into three alpha particles with one alpha particle and the ground state of ${\mathrm{Be}}^{8}$ as an intermediate stage in the process.

Energy levels of light nuclei.

TL;DR: This version of A = 17 differs from the published version in that it has corrected some errors discovered after the article went to press and figures and introductions have been omitted from this manuscript.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gamma-Radiation from Excited States of Light Nuclei

TL;DR: Gamma-radiation emitted in the decay of the excited states of heavy radioactive nuclei has been the subject of experimental and theoretical investigations since the first discovery of natural radioactivity as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Excited states of the mirror nuclei, Li7 and Be7

TL;DR: In this paper, the alpha-particles emitted in the disintegration of B10 by protons were studied and it was shown that there exists an excited state in Be7 at 434.4±4 kev which corresponds to the well-known first excited states in the mirror nucleus, Li7.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Disintegration of N 15 by Protons

TL;DR: The absolute cross sections of the reactions (1) and (2) have been measured from 0.2 to 1.6 Mev in the energy region near 0.100 Mev.
