A hardware readout system for a curved one dimensional position sensitive proportional counter: I. Electronics
TL;DR: In this article, a hardware readout system for a curved one dimensional position sensitive X-ray proportional counter was developed, where eight analog signals from cathode strips and wedges are processed to give, within a few microseconds, 14-bit information about the position of detection of an Xray quantum.
