Search for CP violation in the decay of tagged and K0 to π0π0π0

A. Angelopoulos, +104 more
- 23 Apr 1998 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the CPLEAR experiment measured the eigentime-dependent asymmetry in the rates of initially tagged K 0 and K 0 decaying to π 0 π ε 0 ε ε −5 in order to study the interference between the CP-violating K S and the CPconserving K L decay amplitudes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Scintillation properties of GdAlO3: Ce crystals

TL;DR: In this article, the scintillation properties of GdAlO3 single crystals doped with different concentrations of Ce3+ are reported, and it is shown that Dipole allowed transitions in Ce3 + ions from the lowest 5d to the two 4f levels cause luminescence between 320 and 400 nm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Valence states and luminescence properties of ytterbium ions in strontium haloborates

TL;DR: In this paper, the luminescence properties of ytterbium ions in strontium haloborates were studied under optical, X-ray and synchrotron excitation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two-dimensional microgap gas chambers on silicon

TL;DR: In this paper, a microgap chamber (MGC) with two-dimensional readout was constructed on silicon with an anode pitch of 100 μm and a cathode pitch 400 μm.
