Di- and tri-organotin(IV) complexes with 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde 5-chloro-2-hydroxybenzoylhydrazone: Synthesis, characterization and in vitro antitumor activities
TL;DR: A series of new organotin(IV) complexes of the types R2SnL, R is Me (1), Ph (2), o-Cl-C6H4CH2 (3); and [R3SnL]∞, R = n-Bu (4) (H2L = 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde 5-chloro-2-hydroxbenzoylhydrazone) have been synthesized and structurally characterized by means of elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-vis spectroscopy,
Journal ArticleDOI
Syntheses, structural characterization, in vitro cytotoxicities and DNA-binding properties of triphenylantimony di(N-oxy phthalimide) and di(N-oxy succinimide) complexes
TL;DR: In this paper, triphenylantimony di(N-oxy phthalimide) and triphenymethylantimony(V) dichloride compounds were synthesized using spectroscopic (IR, 1H and 13C NMR, and UV-vis) and single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, structural characterization and in vitro cytotoxicity of diorganotin (IV) diimido complexes
TL;DR: Studies reveal that three di-n-butyltin(IV) diimido complexes show higher cytotoxic activities than cisplatin and the structure-activity relationship of the cytotoxicity of the title complexes has been discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, crystal structure, and bioactivity of two triphenylantimony derivatives with benzohydroxamic acid and N-phenylbenzohydroxamic acid
TL;DR: In this paper, the reaction of triphenylantimony dichloride with benzohydroxamic acid or N-phenylbenzohydroxamato or chloride in 1':'1 stoichiometry yielded two new antimony derivatives, which have been characterized by FT-IR, NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and melting point.
Journal ArticleDOI
[5-Chloro-2-hydroxy-N′-(2-oxidobenzylidene)benzohydrazidato]dimethyltin(IV)
TL;DR: In the title compound, [Sn(CH3)2(C14H9ClN2O3)], the SnIV ion is coordinated by one N and two O atoms from the tridentate 5-chloro-2-hydroxy-N′-(2-oxidobenzylidene)benzohydrazidate (L) ligand and two methyl groups in a distorted trigonal–bipyramidal geometry.
