Organotin(IV) complexes derived from Schiff base N’-[(1E)-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)methylidene]pyridine-3-carbohydrazone: Synthesis, in vitro cytotoxicities and DNA/BSA interaction

TL;DR: In this paper, solid state structures of five organotin(IV) hydrazone compounds were determined by elemental analysis, IR, NMR spectroscopy and for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structural characterization, in vitro cytotoxicities, DNA-binding and BSA interaction of diorganotin (IV) complexes derived from hydrazone Schiff base

TL;DR: In this paper, five diorganotin(IV) complexes of benzoylformic acid 3-hydroxy-2-naphthoyl hydrazone, [R2SnLY]2 (L.= 3-HO-C10H6CON2C(C6H5)CO2) with Y = H2O, R= CH3 (1), Y = EtOH, R = n-Bu (2), R = Ph 3 (3), R= O-Cl-Bz (4), Y= Et
Journal ArticleDOI

Weakly-bridged dimeric diorganotin(IV) compounds derived from pyruvic acid hydrazone Schiff base ligands: Synthesis, characterization and crystal structures

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of four diorganotin(IV) compounds of Schiff base pyruvic acid hydrazone derivatives formulated as [R 2 SnLY] 2 was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, characterization and crystal structures of tri- and tetraphenylantimony(V) compounds containing arylcarbonyloxy moiety

TL;DR: A series of tri-and tetraphenylantimony(V) compounds containing aryl carbonyloxy moiety have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and NMR spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structural characterization and in vitro cytotoxicity of diorganotin (IV) diimido complexes

TL;DR: Studies reveal that three di-n-butyltin(IV) diimido complexes show higher cytotoxic activities than cisplatin and the structure-activity relationship of the cytotoxicity of the title complexes has been discussed.
