Journal ArticleDOI

Detection of Pulmonary Embolism with Combined Ventilation–Perfusion SPECT and Low-Dose CT: Head-to-Head Comparison with Multidetector CT Angiography

TL;DR: It is concluded that V/Q SPECT in combination with low-dose CT without contrast enhancement has an excellent diagnostic performance and should therefore probably be considered first-line imaging in the work-up of PE in most cases.
Journal ArticleDOI

PET tracers for somatostatin receptor imaging of neuroendocrine tumors: current status and review of the literature.

TL;DR: Comparison of sensitivity between the most used tracers shows little difference and expertise on the specific tracer used, and knowledge regarding physiological uptake might be more important than in vitro-proven differences in affinity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Head-to-Head Comparison of 64Cu-DOTATATE and 68Ga-DOTATOC PET/CT: A Prospective Study of 59 Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors.

TL;DR: The shelf life of more than 24 h and the scanning window of at least 3 h make 64Cu-DOTATATE favorable and easy to use in the clinical setting and it is hypothesized that the tracer has a higher sensitivity than 68Ga-based tracers in the detection of lesions in NET patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

64Cu-DOTATATE for Noninvasive Assessment of Atherosclerosis in Large Arteries and Its Correlation with Risk Factors: Head-to-Head Comparison with 68Ga-DOTATOC in 60 Patients.

TL;DR: In a series of oncologic patients, vascular uptake of 68Ga-DotATOC and 64Cu-DOTATATE was found, with highest uptake of the latter, suggesting a potential role for 64 Cu-DottATATE in the assessment of atherosclerosis.
