Microstructure and corrosion behaviour of DC-pulsed plasma nitrided AISI 410 martensitic stainless steel
TL;DR: AISI 410 martensitic stainless steel samples with different metallurgical structures were DC-pulsed plasma nitrided at 623, 723 and 773 K as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microstructural and topographical studies of DC-pulsed plasma nitrided AISI 4140 low-alloy steel
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of DC-pulsed plasma nitriding time on the surface properties of AISI 4140 low-alloy steel has been investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
The influence of ionic composition on the electrodissolution and passivation of iron electrodes in potassium carbonate-bicarbonate solutions in the 8.4–10.5 pH range at 25°C
Élida Beatriz Castro,Cristóbal R. Valentini,Carlos Moina,Jorge Roberto Vilche,Alejandro Jorge Arvia +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of ionic composition on the electrodissolution and passivation of iron electrodes in potassium carbonate/bicarbonate buffers is studied over the concentration range of anions compatible with the regulating capacity of the buffer, at 25°C, by using voltammetric and rotating disc electrode techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrochemical magnetic microbeads-based biosensor for point-of-care serodiagnosis of infectious diseases
María Eugenia Cortina,Luciano J. Melli,Mariano Roberti,Mijal Mass,Gloria Longinotti,Salvador Tropea,Paulina Lloret,Diego A. Rey Serantes,Francisco Salomón,Matías Lloret,Ana J. Caillava,Sabrina Restuccia,Jaime Altcheh,Carlos A. Buscaglia,Laura Malatto,Juan E. Ugalde,Liliana Fraigi,Carlos Moina,Gabriel Ybarra,Andres Eduardo Ciocchini,Diego J. Comerci +20 more
TL;DR: For Chagas disease, a more extensive validation of the test was performed showing that the EMBIA platform displayed an excellent diagnostic performance almost indistinguishable from a fluorescent immunomagnetic assay and the conventional ELISA using the same combination of antigens.
Journal ArticleDOI
The electrochemical behaviour of iron in stagnant and stirred potassium carbonate-bicarbonate solutions in the 0-75°C temperature range
TL;DR: In this article, the corrosion and passivation of polycrystalline iron electrodes in carbonate-bicarbonate solutions in the 0-75°C temperature range were studied in terms of a complex reaction pathway involving both simultaneous and consecutive stages including the corresponding ionic equilibria.
