Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal tuning of terahertz metamaterial absorber properties based on VO2.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors present a novel, structurally simple, multifunctional broadband absorber, which consists of a patterned vanadium dioxide film and a metal plate spaced by a dielectric layer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Near-infrared surface plasmon resonance sensor based on photonic crystal fiber with big open rings

TL;DR: In this article, a photonic crystal fiber (PCF) sensor based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) was designed for near-infrared detection, where the Ag-Au dual layers were selected as the Plasmonic materials and the silver layer was covered by a gold layer for protection against oxidation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ex-centric core photonic crystal fiber sensor with gold nanowires based on surface plasmon resonance

TL;DR: In this article, an ex-centric core photonic crystal fiber sensor with gold nanowires based on surface plasmon resonance was designed and analyzed by the finite element method, and the influence of the structural parameters of the sensor on the spectral sensitivity and resonance wavelength was studied for analyte refractive indexes (na) between 1.33 and 1.4.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-Efficiency Dual-Frequency Reflective Linear Polarization Converter Based on Metasurface for Microwave Bands

TL;DR: In this article, a dual-broadband and high-efficiency reflective linear polarization converter based on an anisotropic metasurface is presented, which exhibits four resonances and can near-perfectly convert x-or y-polarized incident waves into crosspolarised waves in the frequency ranges of 9.38-13.36 GHz and 14.84-20.36GHz.
