Keisuke Goda,Ali Ayazi,Daniel R. Gossett,Daniel R. Gossett,Jagannath Sadasivam,Cejo Konuparamban Lonappan,Elodie Sollier,Elodie Sollier,Ali Fard,Ali Fard,Soojung Claire Hur,Soojung Claire Hur,Jost Adam,Coleman Murray,Chao Wang,Nora Brackbill,Dino Di Carlo,Dino Di Carlo,Bahram Jalali,Bahram Jalali +19 more
TL;DR: An automated flow-through single-particle optical microscope is presented that performs sensitive blur-free image acquisition and nonstop real-time image-recording and classification of microparticles during high-speed flow and demonstrates high-throughput image-based screening of budding yeast and rare breast cancer cells in blood.
Journal ArticleDOI
All-Fiber Ultrawideband Pulse Generation Based on Spectral Shaping and Dispersion-Induced Frequency-to-Time Conversion
Chao Wang,Fei Zeng,Jianping Yao +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an approach to generating and distributing ultrawideband (UWB) pulses based on optical spectral shaping and frequency-to-time conversion using all-fiber components is proposed and demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sub-micron silica diaphragm-based fiber-tip Fabry-Perot interferometer for pressure measurement.
TL;DR: A sub-micron silica diaphragm-based fiber-tip Fabry-Perot interferometer for pressure sensing applications is demonstrated, with a high pressure sensitivity and low temperature cross-sensitivity, suitable for high sensitivity pressure sensing in harsh environments.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption and reduction of Cr(VI) from aqueous solution using cost-effective caffeic acid functionalized corn starch.
TL;DR: In this paper, a potential bio-adsorbent was formed via immobilizing caffeic acid (CA) on dialdehyde corn starch (DACS) for Cr(VI) removal, and characterization techniques such as IR, Raman, XPS and 13C NMR were performed to analyze surface elements and functional groups on the as-prepared sorbents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chirped Microwave Pulse Generation Based on Optical Spectral Shaping and Wavelength-to-Time Mapping Using a Sagnac Loop Mirror Incorporating a Chirped Fiber Bragg Grating
Chao Wang,Jianping Yao +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, an approach to optically generating chirped microwave pulses with tunable chirp profile based on optical spectral shaping using a Sagnac loop filter incorporating a Chirped fiber Bragg grating (CFBG) and linear wavelength-to-time mapping in a dispersive element is presented.
