Abstract: New taxa described herein are: Platydema dichrocerum (Cuba); LOXOSTETHUS fasciatus (typespecies; Cuba), L. unicolor (Puerto Rico), L. jamaicensis (Jamaica), L. opacifrons (Cuba); and Lelegeis hispaniolae (Haiti); the four species of Loxostcthus are keyed. Platydema apicalis Laporte & Brulle is transferred to the genus Lelegeis Champion.
