Diagnostic and prognostic value of microRNAs for cancers- strategies and approaches to improve the clinical utility.

TL;DR: A few strategies and approaches are put forth in regards to the publication in the spirit of scientific inquiry about the diagnostic and prognostic value of microRNA-628 for cancers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of protein arginine methyltransferase-1 inhibition on hypoxia-induced vasoconstriction.

TL;DR: It is the hypothesis that, in hypoxic stress, a key player in initiating this imbalance is the enzyme, protein arginine methyltransferase-1 (PRMT1) which indirectly affects eNOS activity by increased production of asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA), a NOS-inhibitor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prognostic Value of MicroRNAs in Stage II Colorectal Cancer Patients: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

TL;DR: MicroRNAs play a significant role in determining prognosis in stage II CRC patients, with upregulation of miR21, miR215, mi R143-5p and miR106a, in particular, portending a worse prognosis.
