We present a bibliography on moving and free boundary problems for the heatdiffusion equation, particularly regarding the Stefan and related problems. It contains 5869 titles referring to 588 scientific Journals, 122 books, 88 symposia (having at least 3 contributions on the subject), 30 collections, 59 thesis and 247 technical reports. It tries to give a comprehensive account of the western existing mathematicalphysical-engineering literature on this research field. Sn-Sb alloys are important high-temperature solders. However, inconsistencies are found in the available phase diagrams, and some phase boundaries in the Sn-Sb system have not been determined. Sn-Sb alloys were prepared, equilibrated at 160°C to 300°C, and the equilibrium phases and their compositions were determined. The β-SnSb phase has a very wide compositional homogeneity range, and its composition varies from Sn-47.0at.%Sb to Sn-62.8at.%Sb. There is no order–disorder transformation of the β-SnSb phase. There are three peritectic reactions in the Sn-Sb system, L + Sb = β-SnSb, L + β-SnSb = Sn3Sb2, and L + Sn3Sb2 = Sn, and their temperatures are 424°C, 323°C, and 243°C, respectively. Thermodynamic models of the Sn-Sb binary system were developed using the CALPHAD approach based on the experimental results of this study and the data in the literature. The calculated phase diagram and thermodynamic properties are in good agreement with the experimental determinations.

A thermodynamic assessment of the Al-Cu-Mg ternary system is presented. The Gibbs energies for the liquid and solid solution phases were modeled using the Redlich-Kister polynomial and the Wagner-Schottky model represented by the compound-energy formalism. The model parameters were obtained after fitting to previously critically assessed experimental phase diagram and thermodynamic data available in the literature. The thermodynamic functions and phase diagram calculated using the model parameters describe quite well the known experimental information. The complete set of Gibbs energies for all phases appearing in this system enables the calculation of thermodynamic values as a function of composition and temperature even for those ranges where no experimental information is available.

Supercapacitors (SC) are essential energy storage devices for renewable energies. In this study, activated microporous carbon spheres (AMCS) and nitrogen-doped AMCS (N-AMCS) were synthesized using a modified extended Stöber method followed by CO 2 activation. A high specific area (>3400 m 2 g −1 ) was obtained for AMCS and N-AMCS, and the diameters of the sphere could be tuned from 400 nm to 1.0 µm. The SC study revealed that the AMCS and N-AMCS achieved specific capacitances of 232.75 and 263.59 F g −1 , respectively, in 6 M potassium hydroxide (KOH). The SC pouch cells were filled with aqueous, organic, and ionic liquid electrolytes. In 1 M MeEt 3 NBF 4 in acetonitrile, the energy densities of AMCS and N-AMCS were 27.96 and 31.20 Wh kg −1 , respectively, at the current density of 0.5 A g −1 , whereas the energy densities of AMCS and N-AMCS were 69.19 and 117.69 Wh kg −1 , respectively, in EMIMBF 4 . In addition, in the aqueous electrolytes, AMCS and N-AMCS had capacitance retentions of 94% and 97%, respectively, after 10,000 cycles, while the capacitance retentions of 82% and 97% were achieved with AMCS and N-AMCS, respectively, after 50,000 cycles. • Size-tunable resin spheres were synthesized by the modification of the extension-Stöber method. • The AMCS with a high specific area of 3456.62 m 2 g –1 and diameter of 420 nm. • The method provides a simple, cost-effective, environment-friendly and easily scalable process for production. • The pouch cells of AMCS and N-AMCS as the active materials have a good long- term cyclability.
