Optimal designing of skip-lot sampling plan of type SkSP-2 with group acceptance sampling plan as reference plan under Burr-type XII distribution

TL;DR: In this article, a skip-lot sampling plan of type SkSP-2 with group acceptance sampling plans is proposed when the lifetime of the product follows the Burr-type XII distributions. And the optimal parameters of the proposed plan are determined when two points on operating characteristics curve namely acceptable quality level and limiting quality level, and the number of testers are specified.
Journal ArticleDOI

Partial least square-based model predictive control for large-scale manufacturing processes

TL;DR: In this paper, a Partial Least Square (PLS)-based MPC methodology is proposed to accommodate the characteristics of a large-scale manufacturing process, and the detailed objectives are: (i) to identify a reliable prediction model that handles the short and fat data; (ii) to design an effective control model that both maximizes the required quality and minimizes the labor costs associated with changing the process parameters; and (iii) to develop an efficient optimization algorithm that reduces the computational burden of the large scale optimization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mixed Multiple Dependent State Sampling Plans Based on Process Capability Index

TL;DR: In this paper, a mixed multiple dependent state sampling plan based on the process capability index is presented for a quality characteristic of interest follows a normal distribution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Various repetitive sampling plans using process capability index of multiple qualitycharacteristics

TL;DR: Three repetitive types of sampling plans using the generalized process capability index of multiple characteristics are presented, which include a repetitive sampling plan, a resubmitted sampling plan and a multiple dependent state repetitive sampling plans.

Optimal Design of Skip Lot Group Acceptance Sampling Plans for the Weibull Distribution and the Generalized Exponential Distribution

TL;DR: In this article, the skip lot sampling plan of type SkSP-2 using a group acceptance sampling plan for a time-truncated experiment as the reference plan, when the lifetime of a product follows either the Weibull distribution or the generalized exponential distribution.
