Mixed Control Charts Using EWMA Statistics
TL;DR: Two mixed control charts are designed for process monitoring when the quality characteristic of interest follows a normal distribution and the performance of both control charts is compared with each other and with the existing control chart.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new control chart for exponential distributed life using EWMA
TL;DR: In this article, a new control chart for exponentially distributed quality characteristics using variable transformation and exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) is presented, which is based on the control chart presented in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new multiple dependent state sampling plan based on the process capability index
TL;DR: This new sampling plan for the inspection of measurable quality characteristics is developed based on the process capability index Cpk, where the quality characteristic under investigation follows the normal distribution with unknown mean and unknown variance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mean value analysis of re-entrant line with batch machines and multi-class jobs
TL;DR: An approximate approach for estimating the performance measures of the re-entrant line with single-job machines and batch machines based on the mean value analysis (MVA) technique and some heuristic adjustments is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Time Truncated Group Acceptance Sampling Plans for Generalized Exponential Distribution
TL;DR: In this article, two group acceptance sampling plans are considered for a two-parameter generalized exponential distribution when the life-test is truncated at a pre-specified time, and the design parameters such as the number of groups and the acceptance number are obtained by satisfying the producer's and consumer's risks at specified quality levels in terms of medians.
