Journal ArticleDOI
Unusual cycloaddition of a cage ketone with tetracyanoethylene by irradiation of the electron donor-acceptor complex.
TL;DR: The photochemical reaction of an electron donoracceptor complex of a cage ketone containing a cyclobutane ring with tetracyanoethylene (TCNE) gave an unusual 1:1 adduct which was considered to be formed by interception of a 1, 4-radical cation by TCNE.
Journal ArticleDOI
X-ray Structures and Dipole Moments of Tropones Annulated with Furan, Benzene, and Oxepin
Mitsutaka Kudoh,Susumu Sudoh,Shigeyoshi Katagiri,Tomoo Nakazawa,Mariko Ishihara,Mamoru Jinguji,Miwako Higashi,Hiroyuki Yamaguchi,Ryuta Miyatake,Yoshikazu Sugihara,Chizuko Kabuto +10 more
TL;DR: The precise X-ray structures of furo[3,4d]tropone (2), 2,4-dimethyl-8H-3-oxaheptalen-8-one (5), and 4,5-benzotropone (6) were determined as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
8-Chloro-8-cyano-1,2-homoheptafulvene and its tricarbonyliron complexes.
Noboru Morita,Shunji Ito,Toyonobu Asao,Chizuko Kabuto,Hideo Sotokawa,Masahiro Hatano,Akio Tajiri +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the tricarbonyliron complexes of the 8.8-Chloro-8-cyano-1,2-homoheptafulvene and its tricarbone-iron complexes have been investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structure of inumakilactone D
Journal ArticleDOI
Crystalline structure of N-(S)-2-heptyl (1R,2R)-2-(2,3-anthracenedicarboximido)cyclohexanecarboxamide that differs from its preferred conformation in the solvent used for crystallization.
TL;DR: The preferred conformation of the amide derivative in a solution allows us to exploit (1R,2R)-2-(2,3-anthracenedicarboximido)cyclohexanecarbonyl chloride as a conversion reagent to determine the absolute configuration of chiral amines by 1H-NMR.
