Use of Axially Chiral 2′-Methoxy-1,1′-binaphthyl-2-carboxylic Acid as Chiral Derivatizing Agent for Discrimination of Enantiomeric Alcohols and Amines by 1H NMR
Sotaro Miyano,Shin-ichi Okada,Hiroki Hotta,Masayuki Takeda,Takatsugu Suzuki,Chizuko Kabuto,Fujiko Yasuhara +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a chiral derivatizing agent for 1H NMR with the aid of Eu(fod)3 was used to discriminate enantiomeric alcohols and amines.
Journal ArticleDOI
Octamethyltetrasila[2.2]paracyclophane. Cyclophanes Bridged by Polysilanes
TL;DR: In this paper, the first [2.2]paracyclophane bridged by heteroatoms has been prepared, which displays a strong σπ mixing between Si-Si bonds and aromatic rings as evidenced by a large red shift in UV spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of Isochalcogenazole Rings by Treating β-(N,N-Dimethylcarbamoylchalcogenenyl)alkenyl Ketones with Hydroxylamine-O-sulfonic Acid
Kazuaki Shimada,Akiko Moro-oka,Akiko Maruyama,Hiroyuki Fujisawa,Toshio Saito,Ryo Kawamura,Hisashi Kogawa,Maiko Sakuraba,Yukichi Takata,Shigenobu Aoyagi,Yuji Takikawa,Chizuko Kabuto +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, β-(N,N-Dimethylcarbamoylselenenyl)- and β(N, N-dimethylcarbamideyltellurenyl)alkenyl ketones were converted into isoselenazoles and isotellurazole Te-oxides, respectively, simply by treating with hydroxide.
