Synthesis, Structure, and Photochemistry of Tetrakis(trimethylsilyl)-p-benzoquinone

TL;DR: Tetrakis (trimethylsilyl)-p-benzoquinone (1) was obtained by oxidation of hexakis(trimethylsilyl)hydroquinone with pyridinium chlorochromate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of Tungsten Thienyl Complexes via C–H Bond Activation of Thiophenes

TL;DR: In this paper, the reactions of cis-Cp∗W(CO)2(MeCN)Me with thiophene or 3-methylthiophene resulted in selective α-C-H bond activation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Supramolecular assembly based on π–π stacking and π-cation interactions between thiacalix[6]arene and DMF

TL;DR: The molecular assembly of thiacalix[6]arene was formed by ππ stacking and π-DMF interactions between thaialix and adjoining thai-alix [6] and between thi alix and DMF, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

X-ray crystal structure of [n,n′-ethylenebis(pyrrol-2-ylmethyleneaminato)]nickel(ii) complex

TL;DR: The 1:1 complex of nickel (II) with N,N′-ethylenebis (pyrrol-2-ylmethyleneamine) in benzene-inclusion crystals is a planar complex with a highly strained geometry of coordination, as shown by X-ray structural analysis as discussed by the authors.
