Wideband Channel Measurement and Characterization on a Computer Motherboard
TL;DR: In this paper , a vector network analyzer (VNA)-based channel sounder was used for channel characterization and modeling in the 100-140 GHz band on computer motherboards, and the channel characteristics, such as path loss, delay spread, as well as penetration and reflection losses, were analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Terahertz Channel Measurement and Analysis on a University Campus Street
TL;DR: In this paper , a wideband channel measurement in an L-shaped university campus street is conducted at 306-321 GHz and 356-371 GHz, respectively, in which ten LoS and eight NLoS points are measured at the two frequency bands, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hybrid Spherical- and Planar-Wave Channel Modeling and Spatial Multiplexing Analysis for Terahertz Integrated UM-MIMO and IRS Systems
TL;DR: Performance evaluation reveals that the proposed HSPM can accurately capture the propagation features of the THz integrated UM-MIMO and IRS system, and its capacity is only 3 × 10−4 bits/s/Hz less than that obtained by the ground-truth spherical-wave model.
Journal ArticleDOI
PRINCE: A Pruned AMP Integrated Deep CNN Method for Efficient Channel Estimation of Millimeter-wave and Terahertz Ultra-Massive MIMO Systems
Zhe-Yu Hu,Yuhang Chen,Chong Han +2 more
TL;DR: A Pruned Approximate Message Passing (AMP) Integrated Deep Convolutional-neural-network (DCNN) CE (PRINCE) method is proposed, which enhances the estimation accuracy of the AMP method by appending a DCNN network and a pruning method including training with regularization, pruning and refining procedures is developed to reduce the network scale.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A Non-Uniform Multi-Wideband OFDM System for Terahertz Joint Communication and Sensing
TL;DR: In this article, a non-uniform multi-wideband orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (NMW-OFDM) system is proposed to overcome the limitations of OFDM-based JCS.
