A study of Ni/La-Al2O3 catalysts: A competitive system for CO2 methanation

TL;DR: Ni/La-γ-Al2O3 samples containing 13.6% Ni and a variable amount of lanthana (0, 4, 14 and 37% Ni) were prepared by incipient wetness impregnation, using silica-free γ-Al 2O3 support as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

A study of Ni/Al2O3 and Ni–La/Al2O3 catalysts for the steam reforming of ethanol and phenol

TL;DR: In this paper, the catalytic activity has been evaluated in ethanol decomposition through temperature programmed surface reaction (TPSR), and in ethanol steam reforming (ESR); and in mixed ethanol and phenol steam reformulation (EPSR) as a model reaction for biomass tar steam reforming in a continuous flow reactor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Low-Temperature Dehydrogenation of Ethanol on Atomically Dispersed Gold Supported on ZnZrOx

TL;DR: In this paper, atomically dispersed gold supported on nanoscale ZnZrOx composite oxides was investigated as a catalyst for the low-temperature ethanol dehydrogenation reactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Single-atom gold oxo-clusters prepared in alkaline solutions catalyse the heterogeneous methanol self-coupling reactions.

TL;DR: Mononuclear gold oxo-clusters formed in alkaline solutions through a facile one-pot synthesis are shown to catalyse the heterogeneous methanol self-coupling reaction to methyl formate and hydrogen, showing intrinsic activity is the same for both supported and unsupported gold catalysts.
