Journal ArticleDOI
High maternal serum estradiol environment in the first trimester is associated with the increased risk of small-for-gestational-age birth.
Xiao-Ling Hu,Chun Feng,Xian-Hua Lin,Zi-Xing Zhong,Yi-Min Zhu,Ping-Ping Lv,Min Lv,Ye Meng,Dan Zhang,Xiu-e Lu,Fan Jin,Jian-Zhong Sheng,Jian Xu,He-Feng Huang,He-Feng Huang +14 more
TL;DR: The maternal high-E2 environment in the first trimester is correlated with increased risks of LBW and SGA, and Evaluation of serum E2 before ET should be adopted to reduce the possibility of high E2 exposure to gamete/embryo.
Journal ArticleDOI
Assisted reproductive technology may increase clinical mutation detection in male offspring.
TL;DR: The results indicate that risks of gene mutation may increase in the ART offspring, even though their fathers have normal spermatogenesis and genetic background, and intense attention should be placed on genetic safety in theART children, and the benefits and risks of adopting ART should be balanced gingerly.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of a mutation in GDF9 as a novel cause of diminished ovarian reserve in young women
Ting-Ting Wang,Ting-Ting Wang,Zhang-Hong Ke,Yang Song,Lu-Ting Chen,Xi-Jing Chen,Chun Feng,Dan Zhang,Run-Ju Zhang,Yan-Ting Wu,Yu Zhang,Jian-Zhong Sheng,He-Feng Huang +12 more
TL;DR: The results may provide new insights into the pathophysiological mechanisms of early-onset DOR and larger studies in varying populations may validate the role of GDF9 mutation in young women with DOR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparative proteomic analysis of human placenta derived from assisted reproductive technology.
Yu Zhang,Yan-Ling Zhang,Chun Feng,Yan-Ting Wu,Ai-Xia Liu,Jian-Zhong Sheng,Jie Cai,He-Feng Huang +7 more
TL;DR: The present results reveal that abnormal protein profiles are involved in ART placenta and these differentially expressed proteins may be valuable for the evaluation of potential association between ART treatment and offspring outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI
General imprinting status is stable in assisted reproduction–conceived offspring
Chun Feng,Shen Tian,Yu Zhang,Jing He,Xiao-Ming Zhu,Dan Zhang,Jian-Zhong Sheng,He-Feng Huang,He-Feng Huang +8 more
TL;DR: The global profile of imprinting is stable in children conceived through ART, however, imprinting of a few specific imprinted genes may be vulnerable in a fraction of ART-conceived children.
