TL;DR: Purified precursor RNA containing the L3polyadenylation site of late adenovirus 2 mRNA is accurately cleaved and polyadenylated when incubated with nuclear extract from HeLa cells, suggesting that processing is not coupled to the synthesis of the initial poly(A) tract.

Development of myelination in optic tract of the cat.
TL;DR: The postnatal development of myelin in the optic nerve and tract of normal and dark reared cats has been studied quantitatively with light and electron microscopy, suggesting that initial myelination of an axon is not a continuous process but rather proceeds in a step‐wise manner.
