Journal ArticleDOI

Matrix isolation mid- and far-infrared spectra of sulfuric acid and deuterated sulfuric acid vapors ☆

TL;DR: In this paper, the spectral properties of sulfuric acid and mixtures of it with the mono-and dideuterated species isolated in argon matrices at 5 K were obtained in the region 4000-180 cm −1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Density and Surface Tension of Aqueous H2SO4 at Low Temperature

TL;DR: In this article, the surface tension of aqueous sulfuric acid has been derived as a function of acid mass fraction and temperature in the temperature region from (220 to 300) K. The density has been expressed as a polynomial of the acid mass fractions and temperature, fitting the new measurements together with tabulated values from International Critical Tables (1928).
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of the OH and Cl-initiated oxidation, IR absorption cross-section, radiative forcing, and global warming potential of four C4-hydrofluoroethers.

TL;DR: Infrared absorption cross-sections and OH and Cl reaction rate coefficients for four C4-hydrofluoroethers (CF3)2CHOCH3, CF3CH2OCH2CF3,CF3CF2CH2 och3, and CHF2 CF2CH 2OCH3 are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Variation in assessment of oxidatively damaged DNA in mononuclear blood cells by the comet assay with visual scoring.

TL;DR: Inter-investigator difference in scoring is a strong determinant of DNA damage levels measured by the comet assay, as well as the putative benefits of transforming the primary end points to common units by the use of reference standards and calibration curves.
