TL;DR: Middle-agednon-Hispanic black adults start at a higher level of chronic disease burden and develop multimorbidity at an earlier age, on average, than their non-Hispanic white counterparts and Hispanics, on the other hand, accumulate chronic disease at a faster rate relative to non- Hispanic white adults.

TL;DR: It is recommended that ICU nurses implement music therapy, environmental interventions, therapeutic touch, and relaxing massage to promote sleep in critically ill patients, which are safe and may improve patient sleep, although randomized controlled trials are needed to test their efficacy.

TL;DR: This study examined three remote sensing data sets against in-situ sensor-collected groundwater extraction data from 221 water points serving over 1.34 million people across northern Kenya and Afar, Ethiopia between January 1, 2017 and August 31, 2018 to observe an overall 23% increase in borehole runtime following weeks with no rainfall.

Does change in the neighborhood environment prevent obesity in older women
TL;DR: Evaluating the effect of a neighborhood-changing intervention on changes in obesity among older women found greater neighborhood socioeconomic status at baseline was independently associated with a healthier BMI at baseline, and protected against an age-related decline in BMI over time.
