Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of doping concentration on the properties of aluminium doped zinc oxide thin films prepared by spray pyrolysis for transparent electrode applications

TL;DR: In this article, transparent conducting aluminium doped zinc oxide (ZnO:Al ) thin films were deposited on float glass substrates by tailor made spray pyrolysis with adaptation for measuring the actual temperature of the substrate surface during deposition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Extraction of nanocellulose and in-situ casting of ZnO/cellulose nanocomposite with enhanced photocatalytic and antibacterial activity.

TL;DR: Zinc oxide/cellulose nanocomposite displayed more photocatalytic activity than pure ZnO nanostructures upon degradation of methylene blue, and also improved antibacterial activity against Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative Escherichia coli.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of CuO-NiO-ZnO mixed metal oxide nanocomposite

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple co-precipitation method and its physical properties investigated, XRD studies showed distinct monoclinic CuO, cubic NiO and hexagonal wurzite ZnO phases with NiO oxide having the highest volume fraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly conductive and transparent Ga-doped ZnO thin films deposited by chemical spray pyrolysis

TL;DR: The structural, morphological and optical properties of undoped and Ga doped ZnO thin films were studied as a function of increasing Ga doping concentration from 0 to 7 at.% as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chemical bond approach to optical properties of some flash evaporated Se100−XSbX chalcogenide alloys

TL;DR: In this article, the optical properties were investigated from spectrophotometric measurements in the UV-VIS-NIR spectral region using Swanepoel's standard envelope method and related techniques, and the optical band gap energy was evaluated from the Wemple-Didomenico (WDD) single oscillator model and Tauc's extrapolation method in the region where the absorption coefficient, α ≥ 10 4 cm −1.
