Surface functionalized exosomes as targeted drug delivery vehicles for cerebral ischemia therapy.
Tian Tian,Huixin Zhang,Chunpeng He,Song Fan,Yanliang Zhu,Cui Qi,Ning-Ping Huang,Zhongdang Xiao,Zuhong Lu,Bakhos A. Tannous,Jun Gao +10 more
TL;DR: The engineered c(RGDyK)-conjugated exosomes (cRGD-Exo) target the lesion region of the ischemic brain after intravenous administration and provide a strategy for the rapid and large-scale production of functionalized exosome.
Journal ArticleDOI
Valproic acid enhances neurosphere formation in cultured rat embryonic cortical cells through TGFβ1 signaling
TL;DR: Results showed that VPA could enhance neurosphere formation and NSC proliferation by activating TGFβ1, which might be a novel therapeutic strategy for neurological disorders.
Journal ArticleDOI
The deficiency of Maged1 attenuates Parkinson's disease progression in mice
Jie Wang,Sheng-Ye Xu,Zhi-Yuan Ye,Zhou-Na Sun,Jiaqiang Zhang,Cui Qi,Rui Liu,Xiang Gao,Chuan He,Weiyan You,Jun Gao +10 more
TL;DR: The role of melanoma-associated antigen D1 (Maged1) in Parkinson's disease remains unclear as discussed by the authors , however, it has been shown that Maged1 deficiency inhibited apoptosis and enhanced autophagy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protein phosphatase 2A deficiency in hippocampal CA1 inhibits priming effect of morphine on conditioned place preference in mice.
J. Dai,Ran Xie,Zhou-Na Sun,Xiao-Lin Kou,Jiaqiang Zhang,Cui Qi,Rui Liu,Xiang Gao,Jing Wang,Jun Gao +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the role of hippocampal protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) in the priming of morphine was investigated in conditional knockout mice (KO) and the results suggest that hippocampal PP2A may be involved in morphine priming through the PP 2A/HDAC4/Rack1 pathway.
