Journal ArticleDOI

Surface functionalized exosomes as targeted drug delivery vehicles for cerebral ischemia therapy.

TL;DR: The engineered c(RGDyK)-conjugated exosomes (cRGD-Exo) target the lesion region of the ischemic brain after intravenous administration and provide a strategy for the rapid and large-scale production of functionalized exosome.
Journal ArticleDOI

A review of clinical and histological parameters associated with contralateral neck metastases in oral squamous cell carcinoma.

TL;DR: Clinical and histopathologic factors continue to provide predictive information to contralateral neck metastases (CLNM) in OSCC, which determine prophylactic and adjuvant treatments for an individual patient.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mitochondrial miRNA Determines Chemoresistance by Reprogramming Metabolism and Regulating Mitochondrial Transcription

TL;DR: The mitomiR-2392 regulates chemoresistance in tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) cells by reprogramming metabolism via downregulation of oxidative phosphorylation and upregulation of glycolysis and uncovered a novel mechanism by which mitomiRNA regulates mitochondrial transcription.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mandibular reconstruction with the vascularized fibula flap: comparison of virtual planning surgery and conventional surgery

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that virtual surgical planning was able to achieve more accurate mandibular reconstruction than conventional surgery and the use of prefabricated cutting guides and plates makes fibula flap moulding and placement easier, minimizes the operating time, and improves clinical outcomes.
