TL;DR: The average beam polarization for this set of Z decays was 22.6% and was measured to be 0.004(syst.). From this measurement, the weak mixing angle defined at the Z boson pole is determined to be sin{sup 2{theta}{sup eff}{sub W} = 0.0005 as discussed by the authors.

TL;DR: Using data collected with the OPAL detector at LEP, it is found that the processes ee → Z → pe−,pμ− and the charge conjugate final-states would violate the conservation of the baryon-number B, lepton-number L and the fermion-number n.
