TL;DR: The charged-particle multiplicity distributions are almost Poissonian and narrower than have been reported by other e/sup +/e/sup -/ experiments in this energy range, and give further support to the idea of independent jet fragmentation.

TL;DR: In this article, Bhabha scattering and muon pair production are compared with the predictions of QED and the standard model of electroweak interactions, and a comparison between the data and theoretical predictions places limits on alternative descriptions of leptons and their interactions.
